Namak Halal.. A special movie to remember Amitabh Bachchan's Haryanvi avtaar.

Kishore Da's Pag Ghunghroo first time listened on Vivid Bharti, Delhi before movie release and the it turned crazy to Kishore Da's fan like me to find out which movie it was.

Recording of this LP is superb. I had seen one colored LP in 80s at a cassette recording shop and got one cassette recorded from him for this song, but couldn't get that colored LP now.

Some memories for me too, watching Jawan Jan-E-Man on Chithrahaar on DD around 1983. A classic soundtrack by Bappi Lahiri.

1982 was a defining year for Bollywood film music as Bappi Lahiri scored 2 massive hits - Disco Dancer and Namak Halal. Many believe that these 2 soundtracks started the decline for R.D.Burman.
