The heavy, Black labeled LP is the first print.
This the first non-film STEREO LP by K.J. Yesudas. (may be the first STEREO LP in Malayalam).
The STEREO effect in this LP is also good.
All songs are very popular and are still being played during festive seasons (esp Onam).

I heard this LP when I was a kid, maybe standard 5 or so and never heard it since. Recently I visited a guy who was selling some records in Trivandrum and he wanted Rs.5000 for a copy of this album Thief!!

Nevertheless, hope to get atleast a tape recording of this someday.

My take , Yes and No.
Converting a Digital Master to Analog using quick and easy methods may harm the quality. After all this record was made only for DEMO purpose.. so...
They should have made it a 45RPM single instead of 33 RPM.

I felt the BASS is better in Vinyl over the CD. Voice was much better in CD.

I got one(better condition) in Chennai for Rs. 500/- couple of years back. I was desperate to get this LP then and paid that heavy price.

I love all Lobo songs especially "Goodbye Is Just Another Word" and "You're all I ever need"(not from this album).

Yesterday i played this LP with Pioneer PL 11 + Original Large Advent + Sansui AU 777 combo.
I was blown off. The SQ is amazing. Few pops are there but ignorable level.

Today I got hold of a very good old Malayalam LP. But unfortunately it has lots of scratches due to it, the words in middle gets skipped. Any solution which can make it bit better? Tried Lots of solution found in this forum
Also It seems my image upload limit is getting over any advice how I can increase it?

If the Scratches have already damaged the groves, I think no cleaning can help.

Yes this one is a nice LP with very good old songs. If you tried all and if you have not tried this one, as an another measure, just get clean it with RO(reverse Osmosis) processed water[few of common water filters do that] + mild soap water. Allow it to dry. Then make a velvet brush slightly wet using the Audio Technica record cleaning liquid and make two full rounds in both directions.

Just on the lighter side : get hold of a ELP Laser Turntable player , they say it can play such records....
