Ordered yesterday from New Gramaphone House, and today when I reached home from office the courier had already been delivered, the courier tracking site was showing its still in Delhi.
Now enjoying voice of Yesudas. And remembering old days when I was a kid my uncles used to play this

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - F#A# (infinity) (Constellation Records, 1999 Canadian Press)

This album is called F#A# (infinity) because side 1 (first song) begins in the key of F# and side 2 (second song) begins in A#, ending with an infinite loop. This infinite loop is due to a locked groove at the end of side B. So technically this album has infinite running time :D

There are lot of goodies in the vinyl issue of this album..the most fascinating thing IMO is a Canadian penny crushed by a train! Here's a photo of it..

One more intresing thing of this film is Lyricist Vairamuth introduced in this film. The song "Ithu oru ponmalipozhuthu" is his first lyric for film and his son born on the same day (somewhere read) of this song recording...

You lucky man, have been hunting for this LP for so long after I lost my original collections. If you ever come across a copy please let me know.

Also, starting using the Multi-quote feature when you reply instead of creating individual quote threads.

Since everybody is talking about maestro Illaiyaraaja, I also pulled out this dubbed record for the movie "Do Dil Deewane". This is the dubbed Hindi version of Tamil movie "Ullasa Paravaigal", released in 1980. Though I didn't like the movie at all(too melodramatic) but songs are beautiful.
