50VT20 offers accross India (Hyderabad - 80k)

Good look to get the TV delevered tomorrow..

My case, I believe they deposited the cheque very late. Only yesterday did I get a message that the cheque was under processing and got cancelled because of my request. I gave this to them last thursday.. Whole 9 days.. Meanwhile the panasonic installation team stopped calling also.. Lot of confusion..

But with telengana issue any amount of delay is possible.
that has saved your 4k..so not bad..

Thanks to this and other threads, I have saved close to 44K. I was ready with my cheque book in August to buy 50ST30 at 1.15K and now I am with 50vt20 effectively for 70K. Special thanks to Blasto, Kittu and prankey who motivated me to bargain hard!

One thing I forgot to mention is Croma is giving cashback of 5% limited to 1K for ICICI debit card and credit card customers. (Hence the above effective price of 70K 80-4(Tatasky+ -5(TV cashback) -1 (credit card cashback).

Another offer is for HDFC credit card customers - 0% interest on 6 EMIs processing fee of Rs.500.

Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah:yahoo:....................can't believe mates....

3 hours after my last post i tune into Star movies and watch "AVATAR" dreaming & wondering why did i even hear of deals on 50VT20 as it has let me only to sulk further every day.....

Looks like "EYWA HAS HEARD ME" :ohyeah:but as fate would have it unfold...am going to Jaipur for 3 days for official conference...hence call to the Pana brandshop or rushing to nearest Chroma in Juhu can be done only on Wednesday evening once i am back.... hope stocks hold till then.....

Its surprising that the AVATAR 3D BD was offered complimentary to all people who bought 2010 Panny 3D TVs in the US, atleast they should have offered it on purchase here as the VT shines in eternal glory on this movie..

My ICICI bank card will be jumping in my wallet to come out till then...:D

7% ! that is great - which card?

Couldn't wait till wednesday hence bought the TV today at 9.30 pm at Chroma, Juhu. :licklips:

1 set came in today afternoon, sweet salesperson took me and showed it in their receiving room which is surprising at the entrance of the store..........lucky me.:yahoo:

Didnt haggle much and paid 75k in total less the Toshiba TV (which made no sense to me). I have asked for the delivery on wednesday as i am going out of town tomorrow morning.

I am gonna get 1 glasses + Tata SKy HD PVR + Wireless Keyboard + Scratch card.

Total cost of ownership will hence work out to 70K (Tata sky HD 3.9k + Cashback approx Rs 1k)

I did ask for a second pair of glasses unfortunately they asked me to buy the same from Pana Brand shop as they didnt stock any....

The ORDEAL is finally over.........

Needless to mention Many Many Thanks to Amol, Mistry, Blasto and other members in the forum............without you guys........wouldn't have happened. Sincere Thanks

Congratulations!!!! share the contact of the dealer/salesperson, so other members can avail the benifit too.

I have a strange feeling that 50VT30 is on the way under 1lakh pricing.

Congrats illusion_heart.
I too was tired of calls, follow ups/negotiations and visits and just closed the deal without much negotiations.
I am sure as the inital demand from HFV dies down, these will be available at even lesser prices/better packages!

The ST has to be 70k then..
What I think is, unsold stock from all over the world is coming in for the festive season..
Thinking about it.. The sets were sold for ~80k only in the US even in the peak..

Trust me mate i really was.........but its turned into reality and I can sleep in peace now :D

New for other forum members in mumbai....Croma seems to have received some 27 to 29 sets in total which will be distributed across stores in the city hence lap up without waiting for any more reductions.... the 2011 models are really not that much upgrade over this one...neither any indication that any more stocks will come once these are over...

I am looking forward to do justice to my BR movie collection now....Avatar, Dark knight (Imax edition), Inception...... etc, list goes on........got 3TB (2Tb in my AC Ryan POHD and 1 TB WD) worth of stuff to watch :ohyeah:

Whatever you have been saying is turning out to be true. If its launched below 1L and if 50vt20 stocks are still available one can get a great deal on 50vt20 IMHO. An I hope 42vt30 is also launched.

Sales person name was Hemant Ray in Chroma, Juhu. I asked but he didnt share his no..

Is the VT30 really worth the buy one will need to seriously think.....getting VT20 which is a well established model comparatively for over a year now would seem a more sensible decision IMHO.....

croma is not sharing the store numbers leave aside saleman numbers!!
One has to call 1800 number and you will get a callback from the store (and then you can capture their store number :) ).
