A thought just struck me - Is it a part of strategy to test Indian waters before actually entering Indian market? What I mean is, Amazon is planning on entering Indian markets Q1 2012(or is it rumors?), but talks with flipkart, letsbuy, etc does not seem to be working out. By doing this, are they gauging Indian waters?

Yes! And that is precisely what I am doing
My thought is that this will continue for some more time, now that Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc are coming up. This would also give 'em the opportunity to gain some goodwill when they do decide to show up in India.

Wait a few more days. You can raise a complaint with the customer care. They will send you a replacement copy.

I got a dozen audio CDs last month from amazon.uk and got'em delivered within one week.
I also ordered a couple of CDs from Nimbus Records, did not receive even after 3 weeks, made a complaint and received delivery within the next 4 days. Great service. But dont know what to do with the postal people for the missing parcel.

I had ordered Legend of the guardians, Ice Age 3 and Ocean wonderland(All 3D bluray titles) on 24th Oct, got it delivered by today evening. It was the first time I ordered on Amazon UK, duty was levied!! They charged 35% on the total value, came to 1040rs. Bad luck here.:sad:
