with free shipping?Been a visitor to this forum for many years now but decided to join it only today on a whim. This is my first post to any thread. Have been ordering many DVDs and Blu-rays from amazon over the past few years including the free shipping offer and even from the marketplace. What i discovered accidently yesterday was that amazon.co.uk also has started shipping electronic items (atleast some) to India just like amazon.com. Just ordered Panasonic BDT110 as I wanted a simple Region B blu-ray player to watch Region B blu-rays. Delivered expected tomorrow, i.e. just 2 days.

with free shipping?
No way!!!
But even with shipping + customs it was coming to just around 10k. I have no need for a built-in wifi or the dual HDMI port. So Pana BDT110 was just fine to add to my earlier Pana BD65 as I have very few Region A Blu-ray discs though I would have loved an analog 5.1 out.
The link for the item is here
Panasonic DMP-BDT110EB 3D Blu-ray Disc Player with: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics
Excluding VAT it comes to around 82 pounds which matches the price on amazon.com of $126.
Been a happy customer of amazon uk for the last 3 years.

Did you get the player?? How much was overall cost and was there any import fees? Planning to get one..please let us know.
Yes. Got it through UPS in less than 3 days..actually reached Mumbai in just over a day after ordering. For all shipping from amazon, they charge import fees before dispatch. Total cost came to around pounds 130..roughly around Rs 10K...slightly more than what the Region A player from amazon.com might cost, but this one plays both NTSC (All region) and PAL DVDs. My earlier BD65 was Region A, but most of the DVDs/Blu-ray in my collection are from amazon.co.uk or Indian (All region) NTSC. And, as I said earlier I just needed the player for my Blu-ray/DVD collection. Quality on my Panny 42V20 is excellent. No NTFS support for the USB connection.
No point using a 42" TV to watch youtube.
Hope it helps
