Received the following items in my office here in Chennai today. No customs duty charged. The carton's label mentions 'Petite Paquet', which I guess would have helped with the customs bit. The cartons a bit beat up but the contents seem un-molested for all I could see. Will have to check and play the contents later to see if there are any issues, but I do not forsee any.

For me the postman always comes with my package with the slip at my doorstep & I pay him directly!
 
Here also we have the option of paying the postman directly. Or we can go to PO to pay the duty and take the delivery.

BTW, placed an order of HP-Complete collection on behalf of a friend. 27GBP is awesome price.

Another thing, I've placed an order of LOTR and few more BD's from US (during Black Friday deals). They are shipping it thru iParcel. Read some really bad review about iParcel. Have anyone here got their delivery done by i-Parcel? I'm little bit worried now after reading the reviews :(

Wonderful.. Looks like amazon from uk was faster than flipKart from india.

Sorry if this is a bit off topic but can anyone say whether the Panasonic exclusive Avatar 3D blu-ray includes the Extended edition of the movie (178 mins version) ?

Even I bought LOTR for $50 from Amazon US & mine was shipped on 27th Nov. through iParcel & yesterday got a SMS with a tracking ID from Expressit courier then I searched online & it looks like iParcel is using Expressit to delivery within India! I hope this way there is no custom duty but you never know!
 
Panasonic exclusive Avatar 3D blu-ray - doesnt have the extended cut.

its just theatrical version and u wont even have any extra's, just the movie in 2D+3D

I received my HP 8 movies set today afternoon. The post man delivered it and to my surprise no duty charged :yahoo:. Played one of the disc and it is region free as specified in the site. I played it on my lg indian blu-ray player. Yet to check the no.of discs as there are 4 sets of boxes each containing 2 discs. Will update it in the night all the details.
