Purchased LG LD 650 yesterday on the occassion of Diwali. Initial trying out is in progress. Hopefully I will be able to get its optimum PQ. I will get back to you guys for more assistance later. So far..finding it reasonbly good. Paid 65K on diwali discount, freebies includes Tata sky SD connection.:licklips:

Congrats,but when the price differenece between 42 and 47 inches is only 15k,shouldn't one go for 47 inches??

He already paid 65K, and I'm guessing he bought it from Darjeeling itself (hence so expensive). If he pays another 15K it would come up to 80K. Is it worth paying 80K for a TV?

I have got this set 42LD650, replaces twice due to panel issues, Now the third set has backlight bleeding & speaker sound cracks.

I am contemplating suing LG & claim for damages,

This is simply not acceptable to get three defective pieces.

Hi Guys,
Its 42inch..bought in Siliguri, I paid 65K after Diwali discount. I bought it at LG shoppe. Ezone also quoted same price. Actually I was intrested in Panasonic S series 42 inch, but it is not available here.
I will send you pics after setting it completely. I did not get wall mounting kit with TV, does the technician bring the kit with him. He is supposed to visit my place on monday for setting the TV. Also Tata Sky SD comes free with the TV, can I convert to HD after requesting the Tata representative?

I would say that was expensive. In PUNE with any 40" or higher LCD, CROMA is a giving a 22" LCD free ,worth approximately 13K.
