Owners of this tv pls post pictures and give a more detailed review. I saw the Samsung 5500 thread where there were many detailed reviews with pictures so friends pls give your feedback which will be helpful for many new buyers like me.

Going to buy this during new year time and have to book this by paying advance as they don't have the model in stock. I am just waiting for the 3 yr warranty from Panasonic and if they give during new year time i will book this immediately

Last time when I visited the shop they said the warranty ended in November itself and now no info about the warranty in Panasonic website or ads in daily newspaper so I have to call and ask after Christmas. If you are planning to get dt60 pls ask your local dealer about the warranty and get some info.

If that option is also not there, then there would be an issue.

Looks like Panasonic is planning for Extended warranty only from April ->Next financial year.

So, we have to check out for Christmas/New year offer.

Thanks and yup, you are right buddy. I would have bough 50E6 had I gone to the shop. But, I'm happy with this TV after watching some HD contents So, all is well.

Called couple of panasonic brand shops in chennai even they don't have e6 model for demo :sad:.Which shop u bought b6?Were u able to demo e6,if so pls tell the place and shop? Just planning to visit chennai to look at e6 and samsung 5500 plasma before purchasing here as these are not available for demo in vellore

Checked the link @Soum provided and it just updated the shipping details of 13 Nov '13 which shows 25 P50S60, 75 P50X60, 25 P60S60 but no ST60. So it would seem that they're not importing any ST60 here. I don't know if they've shipped ST60 in Dec '13.

Panasonic is not importing any ST60 anymore. Nothing in Nov and nothing till Dec 2. Seems like this is the end.

search the forum my friend, 50E6D was last reported to be avilible at approx 82-84.

Online purchase is generally safe but it depend what you buy, form where you buy and the destination of delivery. indiatimes doen't seems to have earned any good reputation over the decade of existence.

no 3-yrs warranty now i missed that by 1 day and panna is not ready to listen or consider, they want 8K extra for extended warranty.

for stocks the place where i bought also have few DT & ET in stock.

I'm from Kolkata and we don't get anything good ever. :'(
