I played Crysis2 in 3d mode,it worked fine with no lag whatsoever.
I have not changed any settings like renaming input mode,it works okay for me.
Are you playing online?

Hi niteshb26,

I also have the 47LW5700. Even I have upgraded the firmware to the latest update, but I am not facing any such issues like restarting or anything.

BTW I purchased my TV in Dec2011 for Rs. 1 lac in Bangalore. If you have purchased it recently, could you plz tell me what is the prevailing price in the market?

Hello friends,
finally new 3D LED series LM6200 is out. Y'day I booked 47LM6200 thru 1 of my friends in LG. this set is available with LG dealers and best price which I was offered was 89k (MRP is 1.04k). As I got some employee discount so total price which I am getting is around 72k. It has not been delivered till now and I am expecting the same by tomorrow. It has additional features like image upscaling, dual play and magic motion remote control.

Not sure if any converters exist to convert HDMI input coming from Videocon DTH settop box to Digital RF to be connected via Antenna socket of the TV.

Not sure what would be implications of the cost and quality after conversion.

Hi All,

I too having same issues with my new LG LW6500 42". After changing the Country settings of the tv in Service menu from India to Australia, I could see the play, pause, rewind, forward and Record buttons enabled along with the schedule recordings. Everything looks fine except the recording, when I click on recording I am getting the message, "Recording is not available in Analog Channels". I use local cable tv signal without Set top box. Will a STB from the cable operator solve my problem? Also I did notice some reduction in the clarity of the image after changing the country to Australia.

If anybody is having any solution for the DVR please help..Thanks in advance

Hey Friend,

I too heard that they often do such things....
You can check the number of hours in the settings itself (i believe it is under product information)..Needless to say this can be reset the used hours if you login to the service menu of the TV.

you can enable TV recording through this..I did it yesterday...but could not achieve the final results as i receive analog signal from the cable operator of Kathriguppe-Bangalore...

Hi,
I upgraded the software of my 42LW6500 to the latest version. The TV detected the software in a matter of seconds after connecting the USB drive with LG_DTV foler. The upgrade went smoothly. Wow.

I did not see any notable difference between the old s/w (04.01.21) and the latest (04.04.03).

However, I struggling to find out how to enable/access the service menu.
Can anyone help please?

I was planning to buy 6500 but looks like it is way out of my budget of which is arnd 70k. I got a price of 6500 around 1,20,000/- not sure if this is the best one...and of 5700 around 75k.

I would like to know is there any major , significant difference between 5700 and 6500 ?

Looks like I am also gonna end up with lm6200. . .the SVC confirmed my replacement for LX9500 as LM6200 :( sad LX9500 was so good. .and this is entry level crap

Hi...where u r getting 6500 for 82K ? which city ? in Pune I got the price of around 1,20,000/- and 5700 of 75K + LG Home Theatre free.

what extra features 6500 has than 5700 ? and r they work paying so much difference ?

Shahs Chennai offers 69K for LW5700 with absolute no freebie... LW6500 was offered by Abirami electronics with no offers.

All these sale people say that Lw5700 is 2011 model and they are not willing to market it
Latest offer is LG shoppe - LM6200 for 72K.. What do you guys think?? Which one shall I choose? please suggest!!!!
