I am getting the onkyo hts 3300 tomorrow. Attached images of my room with dimensions 15 x 12
I would really like your help with the set up of the speakers. This is my first HT set up and i dont know much about acoustics.
The first pic is where the tv is sony bravia full hd bx 400 PS3 fat 40 gigs and TS hd

Im looking for the speaker orientation that would be optimal for getting most value for the hts 3300
the connectivity strategy follows:
PS3 out -> AV reciever(HDMI)
HD STB out -> av reciever(HDMI)
av recievr out to TV
av receiver to speakers
a. where should i place the sub?
b. dont want any gadgets on the table under the tv
c. table with ps3 has 3 levels
So component placement could be
top shelf where the ps3 is goes the centre speaker
middle shelf has av receiver
bottom has hd stb and ps3
now i would really like your help on where to put the 4 speakers?
How do you connect the surround speakers? 2 wires running through the length of the room? please no ! help!!!!
