Hi, I bought Yamaha rx v371 from Reliance digital with a pair of Yamaha nsf140 and nsp150 center and surround speakers and Philips bdp 3200/94 all at 43.5 k..
I hope all of these make for a good buy...will add sub during Diwali.
haven't tested it properly yet but SQ seems to be good

Hi, Even I have Denon (1612) + Tannoy V4's and have been thinking of adding sub for a while. Any particular reason why you chose this Sub? What price you paid for this? from where?

i auditioned few subs ..polk, jbl, b&w, velodyne in this i like velodyne, jbl too boomy for me, b&w 8" fits my budget but underpowered and final choice between polk and velodyne..velodyne eqmax impressed for both music and movies. I paid 38k for 10" model @ ht store bangalore.

Nothing big, but bought 10 meter of DAC 18 awg speaker cable from hifimart for Rs.700/-. Ordered it on Sunday night and received it on Wednesday morning. Really fast service. Connected the cables to magnet interior front satellites and there was an apparent change in SQ. I use QED 42 for surrounds, so didn't compare it with the DAC. One advantage of the dac cable is that the cables have marking to distinguish positive and negative terminals. For the QED cable I couldn't find no such marking which can be a pain especially when used as long surround cables. I used a multimeter to check the continuity and assigned one as +ve. For 700 bucks the DAC cable is really VFM.

Hi,

I just finished my ht setup and awaiting for various deliveries.

1. Denon 3313ci avr
2. Epson tw8000. Projector
3. Polk rti a9 ( 2 ) + csi a6 + fxi a6 ( 2 )
4. Oppo bdp 93

Can't wait to receive them and setup.

One help I require is if somebody can recommend me where to buy projector screen material as I intend to make a 200" screen.

Thanking you in advance.

I have the same QED 42 cable brought over ebay from a Bangalore seller. Even I faced the same problem, what I did was there is a clear extra mark line on one side of the cable. So I used that as the +ve end and the other negative. This way I was able to distinguish but the DAC cable is a nice one with clear markings.

thanks

Hi all,

Bought a nad c545bee cd player for 32k. I initially finalized on ca 650c cd player as I had a 651a integrated amp which I thought would be a good pair with the cd player. But unfortunately audio planet, the dealer for cambridge audio for bangalore (as I learned from the threads in HFV) did not have a black color cdp and I did not want a silver color thingy stacked below a black amplifier. Hence started looking for another player and eventually settled on NAD. I however did try usher cd-7 also at ARN today but I did not find it great compared to the 650c, and even though I did not try hear the nad player, after reading so much, I have a strong feeling that I could not go wrong with this. I will be getting my cdp wednesday :) hope that the nad and ca would be a good couple :)

Does anyone know how much will the nad546bee cost ? It looks like this one has a USB input also which could have been fun! though not that necessary. Also anyone have this pair of NAD cdp and CA amp ? If so, how do you find the sound and any advices ? I have time till tomorrow if I need to change anything, I believe :)

Regards,
Sabarish
