I have the same unit. what do you mean by nifty feature :) .. i would like to explore/use those as well .

Well you can adjust the transfer voltage and sensitivity settings of this UPS. Go through the user guide as to how it can be done. These settings allow the unit to operate even in low voltage conditions by adjusting the voltage to input correct voltage during voltage fluctuations and by not using the battery. Also voltage can be adjusted to operate between 3 settings.
 
Bought Yamaha RXV 473 av receiver from Finland and brought it myself..Costed around 21 k!! Never expected the prices to be cheaper there. Also saw speakers Wharfedale, Dali,etc with cost at 50% of India rates. After weighing the weight and duty rates, decided not to go for them.

This is my second av purchase this year (and all blame goes to this forum for educating me :))..Thank you all guys!!

Now to look for speakers, cables..That would mean digging the old posts as audiophile means some biological name to me and my ancestors!!
Planning to go for only bookshelves under 20 k as of now. Till then content with seeing the black beauty :-)
 
Got a benq 7000. Amazingly bright, amazing colors. I can watch sports during day without worrying for ambient light. I didn't get any of these with my previous LCD projector.

Bought Sony 46 CX 520 LCD TV for 57K in chennai.... ( 5 Months back)

Sonodyne Sonus HT speakers v2 5.0 setup (2605 + C2401 + Rear Dipoles) for approx 35K in chennai ( 5 Months back)....

Onkyo TX NR 818 for 45K from Kuwait (Xcite electronics) a month back...:)

The Built in intelligent volume driving me crazy. Cinema Hall Like Experience. Great Vocals from Center Speaker.
Will update the performance later on.
