I have both and each have their advantages and disadvantages. Nothing compares to top end plasmas for blacks, motion! Great for movies.

Nothing compares to An led backlit lcd for brightness, as a computer screen and power consumption.

For watching normal tv, soaps, etc., LED is better and there is no need to fun the home environment, etc.

A setting called 'Custom' or 'User' is not required. Every setting can be customized.

:lol: Of course I sleep. I slept around 11:15 pm and woke up around 5:30 AM. I go to gym between 6:30 to 7:00 am and return after an hour. Was checking mails and stuff. Found many replies on HFV also.

Eye opener for Users confused between HDR and FHD Plasma

Shockingly dth hd channels looked better on XT 50 than on ST..That was tru for 720p MKV rips as well

I have a thread on that named 2012 Panasonic plasma tvs our something like that. That thread contains the differences between various models.

For brightly lit conditions, plasma will result in reflections and wash out. So plasma may not work for you.

That is their usual quote. Haggle well and you will be able to knock off at least 10K. I purchased way back in July for 105k with the HT offer. I sold off the HT and procured the 3D BDP instead.

100K is the max - it would be good if you can get it 95-98K.

42UT40D .. is there any TV by that name .. either it is 42UT30 or 42UT50 ..I think Pany never had any 40 series.. others can enlighten..

So he quoted 63610 and after discount he charged you 65000... hmm so how the price went up after discount.. am I missing something?

let me admit I made a lot of typo (I remember, was in hurry to pack my pack for a trip)
its 42UT50D model.
website prices were 65610 which were rounded off to 65000, and 2000 discount for giving back my 21" TV, so my final prices were 63000.

looks like, it is the only shop which carries ST and GT in mumbai.

Re: New Plasma Hours Run should be ZERO????

Did not get a new wall mount. Guess the old one should work with the ST50. I have not used it yet. I do intend to use it with the ST50 now. Will post once done.

So isnt it installed yet??
