Yday I tried to watch 3D with some video from youtube. When I switched on the glass, TV showed a picture indicating sync. But 3D didn't work. Anyone tried this ?

Then I tried 2d -> 3d converted DTH channel and it worked..

I got my 42ST50 with the free HT for 80.5K in August (Panasonic Brand Shop) in BLR, so the prices should have dropped further now than I see in this thread...

It has meaning because it is the same dealer from whom I got my XT buddy,..,,as far as invoice goes, if in doubt visit his shop in Delhi..lol.....I can't remember when dealer quoted x to me and charged x plus y...specially a dealer who had sold a product in the past

Invoice may not help.. I got 50ST50 for 91k, but invoice was done with 95K

The pana comp --dealer network seems to be quite casual .

Just like Fiat is doing in India.

As and when stocks arrive later, he might revert back on the promise and say that "you misheard" or "Panasonic has raised the prices", etc. I am not saying that dealer will always do that, but dealers are known to do that. So show me a real purchase at the quoted price.

Anyways, I wanna kick Panasonic for DSE,,,man my cricket is also spoiled....he'll it's so damn bad even on star cricket HD...wish a Delhi owner could come and see huh...

I'm currently having the most devilish luck with electronic gadgets

My wife's digital compact camera is on the blink - less than 6 months after it was bought (repair will cost 70% of its price) and my DSLR is also showing ERR (haven't had to heart to get it checked out and repair priced). So pictures are iffy (my cell does not have a flash). Hope I don't have the same luck with my GT50. Am running the slides now and I almost blew a gasket when I saw a thin red line appear within an hour of the slides running. Seems to have disappeared now and hence my BP is back to normal

Still a high price..I was quoted 75k in Delhi for st50, a month back....they are dumbos as spammy e8000 has eaten into the market if time..Gt prices is wow though

What is shocking is they are not delivering new stock in India , that's where they charge highest premium for the product...god knows ow they design marketing strategy...they give ht when the product is launched and when the festive season comes hey give useless printers....well I thought companies give best deals during festivals or say during product decline stage not during launch....

Someone wearing a Panasonic T-shirt at the dealer told me that Panasonic is diverting shipments to Australia and Europe. I was asking why there is such a short supply of ST and GT models in India during festival season when they have the most sales.

I laughed when I heard about the printer as gift. The most pathetic sales gimmick I even heard.

Good that I dont even know their meanings properly...so I dont know that they exist....ignorance is bliss..
Anyways, I watched 3d blurays.Was a nice experience.
Was afraid that i would endup with a headace.But amazingly, I saw continuously for more than 1.5 hr with no strain to the eyes at all.
But all through I was worried about burnin as I could not zoom the 3d picture to full screen.I guess it is the same with all 3d movies!

I have noticed two issues

1) 3D not functional will youtube contents
2) Can't zoom when viewing photos for memory card.
3) Can see slight banding while playing break-in slides.. I guess this is same as being discussed in another thread

Anyone observed these ?

Agree to all...banding well is only on green and blue slides...Its like 3-4 white vertical lines and some black portions on screen
