watchmenregion1 dvd , sq/pq is fabulous , movie is average ,sfx/action is good ------overall the movie is too lengthy(almost 3 hrs) -------watch if you like super hero movies

The movie wont be interesting to people who watch such movies for Superhero actions..movie is too long and too much talk about logics (Movies and logics!!!)

12 rounds---region 1 dvd , SQ/PQ top class, very fast paced ,lots of action , comes from the makers of die hard and speed -------when compared to the older movies this one pales out-----but still highly recomended for action fans-----and definetly its going to rock your system!!

Hi,

Watched 8MM yesterday. Nicholos Cage, a private investigator, goes after a 6 year old crime of a murder of a girl. The story line is taught and it is a very good thriller. Cage is a nice performer.Background score is a little different from the usual Hollywood flicks. Though the the movie itself is not sleazy, the subject is.The movie revolves around making of porn. So be a little careful if u watch it at home.

available here in mumbai in all major stores. Saw it a while back...
Was priced at something in region of rs. 500 and is released by big entertainment

BRAVEHEART-----rewatching after about 10 years ---region 1 dvd ,interlaced,dolby digital, SQ/PQ very good but may not be as good as the newer releases , but the movie is still worth watching fantastic performances and direction ,definetly worth a rewatch at full blast!!

the interpreter was a very fine movie , have seen it a couple of times , nicole kidman was terrific in it , and i will never forget the bus scene , do watch THE TRAITOR the climax with the bus and the bomb is terrific

watched Appaloosa a western this week. Ed Harris acts and directs the movie.Usually i dont like modern westerns.But this one is a somewhat interesting movie. More than Harris its his side kick, played by Viggo Mortensen, i liked the most. He doesent make a wrong move or say anything out of place and supples Harris the correct word whenever he gropes for one.Carries a 8 gauge shot gun to boot.

The leading lady is also an interesting character She is ready to be with any man as long he protects her and gives her a roof.....:lol:

And interestingly its not the hero that rides into sun at the end of the movie but the side kick

theres something about the movies and the BUS ------if u have not seen THE DOOMSDAY ---jst watch it for the last scene where a JAGAUR is driven through a BUS!! this one is an amazing scene ( something similar to a scene from mad max 1) -----------also do chk out our very own hindi movie AMIR (again the bus and the bomb) but on the whole AMIR is a very well made movie

hi, ashwin no offence , i saw appaloosa quiet some time back but found the movie too damn slow which moved even slower than a snails pace , never will i forget this movie as i took 3 days to complete this one , every time i wud fall asleep!!! hey! but difference of opinion and tastes is always there

region 1 dvd ,sq/pq good, but i think the low frequencies has been exagerated --- extremly fast paced ,good chases, and the opening scene is good and it will really test your sub , overall a good movie for action lovers

EDGE OF LOVE---reg 1 dvd , DRAMA, story about friendship, love , jealousy with a world war 2 back ground----slow paced ,but definetly worth a watch

Watched Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen yday at a friends HT.

Not as good as the first one but if you like sound and visual effects, its difficult to beat this one.

never knew the bluray of this movie released this fast!! where did u get the disc from ------ i saw`this at a theatre ( urvashi) here in blr, man let me tell u the`sub they have there was truly awesome i think it is from (pulz) , it really kept the whole seat shaking through out the movie, and if u plan on going to this theatre dont go upstairs go downstairs to really get the feel of the sub they have!!!!
