Picture Mode = Movie
Backlight = 10
Contrast = 90
Brightness = 50
color = 50
Tint = 0
Sharpness = 0
Contrast booster = Off
Turbo led = off
Cinema mode = on
Noise reduction = on
Color temp = no change
3d color management = on
Active backlight control = off
base color adjustment = no change

This setting is giving me crisp picture on Dishtv HD with ZERO backlight bleeding. One thing I ensured for initial 30-40 hrs is - I never ran the LED on high contrast/brightness mode, I let the breaking happen before going for calibration and now its beating my other Samsung 40" LED.

Friends, Update on the issue.
Got a call from Toshiba service center that they will b sending the new piece today.
However this happened after some follow up, but the conversations were all good with the Toshiba guys.
One thing I found not impressive is Toshiba as a company has no information on what the ticket status/issue resolution is. Its all in the hands of the service center guys.

Finally got the replacement TV yesterday.
Again it looks like that's an opened piece.
Packing was perfect and at first glance it looks perfect like a new piece.
But on closer examination there are some scratches on the bezel and there is missing bezel sticker/cover on one of the edge. Told the technician about it and he promises that its a new piece. Don't know what to believe.
Please advise what to do?

Is bottom edge not having plastic cover?
Mine didn't have plastic cover only on the bottom edge. I think it is because the bottom edge has matt finish where as other 3 edges have glossy finish.
Do you see any double tapes on the packing box?

There is no plastic cover at bottom edge, rest 3 edges covered with plastic strip and whole front display also covered with think plastic paper.

Bottom edge and the right edge didnt have plastic cover.
There are no double tapes on the cover.
May be the service center sent a refurbished one?

I doubt if you will find the WLAN adapter.
You can take a look at Chromecast Chromecast and see if it meets your use cases.

If you must use miracast then you can explore 3rd party Miracast dongles/adapters Amazon.com: miracast dongle: Electronics

I am using chromecast.
It works perfectly fine with my old Dlink router.

No. I didn't know about it when buying. I haven't check with dealer on that.

I didnt get any coin either. Btw you can use plethora of android dongles available on ebay. Some serve better than chromecast

Here is a link from flipkart. Seller is WSRetail and they claim full 3 yr warranty by Toshiba.
Prices are also less there. Is that warranty really endorsed by Toshiba?
