Vinyl I am listening to...

Here's some recent Jazz additions to the collection that I've been enjoying =)

1) Johnny "Hammond" Smith - A Little Taste (Mono original release)

2) The Best of Herbie Hancock (Blue Note)

3) Suzuki Isao Quartet + 1 - Blue City (Japanese release on Three Blind Mice label - TBM)

4) Tsuyoshi Yamamoto Trio - Midnight Sugar (Japanese TBM label)

5) Suzuki Isao Trio Quartet - Blow Up (Japanese TBM label)

6) Tsuyoshi Yamamoto Trio - Midnight Sun (Japanese TBM label)

These Japanese Three Blind Mice records sound OUTSTANDING! Quite possibly some of the best sounding Jazz records I own. These Japanese I tell ya! =)

I am back into this thread. Since my grandma is visiting me these days, most records played are old hindi songs like goonj uthi shehnai, izzat, mera saya etc. The cart is playing them quite good. I would be carrying my latest purchase of 10 english records home today. Hope to listen to one or two of them today. There is eric clapton, police, frank sinatra etc in the lot!

a friend got from kolkata - if you mean the english ones.

Right now listening to The Police Zenyatta Mondatta vinyl - and enjoying through hd 650 - bass is quite well reproduced. my speakers are nowhere close to it (though I haven't played through them as yet).

Now listening to Eric Clapton Backless.
