Which is the menu item for tv usage? I couldn't find it in the service menu. I guessed it was AGING. But AGING shows a bright pink screen with nothing on it.

Mine is 370 hours with about 2+ months usage. can you imagine I have switched on the unit 340 times so an average watching time of 1 hour every time. he he never mind, I know its a bad statistical approach.

Cool! Take the pen, get the extended warranty form, fill it and send it as soon as you open it and find it working condition/making sure not used one. Because I took about 2-3 weeks to send it now they say they don't have a clue. Its about 2 months now.

Extended warranty is from Panasonic or the dealer?

Panasonic. They will send us a warranty confirm letter for the extended period upon sending the warranty form came along with TV.

Is V20 a plasmaTV? Is it better than SONY EX720 3D LED TV? Pls tell me about it as I am in the verge of buying an EX720

Simply no comparison between the two, EX720 is just an average LCD tv while V20 is a top of the line plasma. V20 will kill EX720 in all aspects of picture quality.

Will the ext warranty form be inside the box? Or should I ask the Panasonic guy who would come to install the TV to get it along or is it something I can download from their web site?

If I remember correctly only the first year warranty comes inside the packing. But the extended warranty card has to be collected from the dealer for sure. It has a serial number and the dealer stamp with date of purchase which are important. Not sure in your case the technician who is going to install the unit will give you the form. Just ask the sales guy.

I have been using Panasonic 42V20D Since June 2010. I am planning to purchase UPS. I would like know anybody using 850 VA UPS with Plasma TV ?

Any specific info do I need to consider before buying UPS for Plasma TV ?

I received my v20 last week but the out of the box warranty came for 1yr only. I called up the service center and they said that I must retain the cash memo and that shouldstand for 3 yrs warranty. They said that they have received emails from Panasonic that World Cup peiod purchases will be backed by 3 yr warranty. I have asked them on giving me a proof of warrabty that I can retain and will help me in times if I encounter a different service personel in course of time who did not have this background. Let ssee what they comes back with.

Haisaikat This is exactly what I was informed by the Reliance folks. I normally take 4-5 photo copies of the original bill as they tend to fade away and file them. I suggest you can do the same

I purchased this TV from Modern World Bangalore a month back. Since the warranty card in the box mentioned only 1 year, I called the dealer who asked me to come over to his shop and collect the extended warranty card and got it.

Before calling dealer, I called Panasonic customer care, they informed me to send the dealer copy of the warranty card to Panasonic and I would receive the extended warranty card home. I called dealer because the there was no dealer copy of warranty card in the box. But he asked me to come over his shop and collect it.

This was a box packed pc also checked the usage hours with help from Haisaikat (Thank you Buddy) usage hours 3 hours all my own usage. Still got to get the scratch card from Panasonic. But did get the scratch card from Reliance. They have their own one running. And guess what won 11K already. Need to add 11K for any additional wins Sweet deal. Hooked up the Sony BDP 370 player to it and the up scaling of DVD's is unbelievable. Blu rays discs no questions. Got this hooked up to my HK 5.1 System along with additional Tecnicks speakers to make it a hell of a show. Wont be surprised if the neighbors are going to complain soon
